3. Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes has stalled since his successful Intercontinental Championship run. When he lost the belt to the Big Show at WrestleMania many felt that it was his time to conquer the main event scene. Hes good all-round and although he doesnt show quite as much potential as Dolph Ziggler, he can still be one of the top workers. The main problem with Rhodes is that his character has changed numerous times in the last few years and it has created a lack of direction. He seems to have been in the mid-card for years he debuted back in 2007 and now it is time for a push. The son of the
American Dream hasnt been in a storyline since his rivalry with Show and thats one of the benefits of a faction; it opens up many opportunities for angles. Much like with Wade Barrett, Rhodes could be a World Heavyweight Champion with the support of Heyman and Punk and I could imagine the two wrestlers working together. Rhodes shows more potential than any of the other candidates so it would be a huge shame to see him wasted.
