One of the first encounters was this match for the now defunct Hardcore Title that Show lost by forfeit after he received "some tragic news". What this lead to was the infamous 'Big Show's dad is dead' story arc but all it looks like is Show receives the news he's been challenged to a match by Bossman and then breaks down and cries about it. Watch the clip with no volume and tell us you don't see it that way. The saddest thing about this whole angle was that it lead to a WWE Championship match that was so underwhelming I doubt even Show remembers it. Show's run as the top dog in the company was a huge failure and a much bigger reason for him to get upset.
