https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBefuMWWMO8 The easy thing to do would be to keep friends Xavier Woods and R-Truth together in a mentor-mentee relationship, but that clearly isnt going anywhere for them. R-Truth in his current character is a glorified jobber, and that doesnt help Woods in any way. Putting Woods with a strongman like Mason Ryan would create a natural tag team dynamic while hiding each mans weaknesses. Ryan is largely incapable of carrying a singles match it he could do anything passable, he wouldnt be wasting away in NXT and Woods is highly athletic but lacks the power moveset to be anything more than cannon fodder for bigger guys. As a tag team however, they could be a perfect duo, with Woods getting beat down and making the hot tag to Ryan, who runs over everyone and hands it back off to Woods for an acrobatic finish. Or give them Power & Glorys Powerplex finisher while youre at it.
