WWE: 5 Superstars Who Could Legitimately The Undertaker's Streak

2. John Cena

The mere mention of John Cena will get you a reaction one way or another. Kids and women love and cheer him, men and the internet hate him. It doesn't matter who he is facing, but you are sure to hear two chants break out during his match, Lets go Cena/Cena sucks. John Cena is the face of the WWE regardless if he has the WWE Championship or not, and he has carried the company for the last ten years. The work he does with the Make-A-Wish Foundation is incredible, and he is a role model for the children who watch him. Cena is also the top merchandise seller in the WWE, and seemingly has a new shirt every month. With all this being said, the question that always seems to come up is when will they turn John Cena heel? The feeling amongst the hardcore fan is that he can't wrestle and his character has just gotten stale over time. Amongst those same fans, The Undertaker and his streak have become legendary. If the WWE ever decides to turn Cena heel, having him defeat Taker and end his streak, will get him booed out of the arena. He would go from the top baby face to the top heel over night by pinning Undertaker, and I would not want to be in the arena when that happens. While this may seem like a long shot, lets not forget that the immortal Hulk Hogan (who Cena is compared to) turned heel and headed the nWo. Hogan was always the biggest baby face in the industry, but when he turned heel, it reenergized his great career. The best way to turn John Cena heel would be defeating The Undertaker, and then having him turn his back on the fans.
