WWE: 5 Things You Should Know About Dating A Wrestling Fan
3. There Is No Off-Season
All professional sports have an off-season. It's a time for the athletes to recharge, heal from injuries, and spend time with their families. Most television shows also have an off-season as well. Traditionally the actors and staff have between April and around August where they don't have to worry about table readings and yelling at production assistants about their coffee and whatnot. But, for WWE Superstarsperformers that bridge the gap between actors and athletesthere is no off-season. Unless a Superstar gets hurt, they're working year round, which is demanding both to the Superstars themselves, but also to the fans and the less than enthusiastic people they are dating. If your significant other is actively watching WWE year round, than you have to prepare to deal with the following schedule: -Every Monday night is WWE Raw -Every Friday is WWE Smackdown -Every Wednesday is Main Event (but nobody really worries about that one) -12 times a year (consider March your free month and October the dark season) there is a Sunday pay-per-view which will either cost you between $40 and $60 a pop or $10 a month (thank you WWE Network). -WrestleMania is the biggest event of the year for a WWE fan, and even if you talk them out of all the other pay-per-views, you're not going to talk them out of this one. Sorry. This isn't even counting the possible live events that you might be dragged along to at any given point in the year. If your beloved fan is flexible, he or she might be willing to bend on the other programs, but don't count on them giving them all up cold turkey. So either learn to live with it or set up a Plenty Of Fish account, because even if you do somehow convince them to give it up...
