5. Face Turn And Feud With Coulter And Swagger

The obvious way to move Cesaro up is a face turn and a feud with buddies Jack and Zeb. In the past few weeks, they have somewhat teased tension within the group, such as Cesaro not assisted Coulter against the Big Show and Coulter slapping Swagger. The cracks are showing. The story here can be very easy. Cesaro, while trying to improve America, is not American. He is almost exactly the opposite of what Coulter and Swagger are fighting for. After Elimination Chamber where Cesaro has almost zero chance due to no build, they can add more tension with stating Swagger got the job done before and Cesaro is holding them back. This could lead to a possible tag team title match where they lose on something like Cesaro accidentally hitting the Very European Uppercut on Swagger or Swagger hitting Cesaro with a Swagger Bomb. From this, creative can create a feud with Cesaro eventually overcoming the two "bigots", for lack of a better word. The problem here isn't that the plan isn't wrong or not strong. It is that when Cesaro wins, he won't be near the Upper Card. This is basically "Insert Cody Rhodes for Cesaro and Damien Sandow for Swagger" again. Sure, Cody Rhodes has held the tag team title since his feud, but is no closer to the uppercard than he was before. The same too can be true for Cesaro.
