WWE: 5 Ways To Eliminate John Cena's "50/50" Crowd Response

4. John Cena Must Be Beat Up To An Uncomfortable Degree By Bray Wyatt

It would appear as if WWE is toying with the idea of just allowing Bray Wyatt to eventually be accepted as a babyface character. A potential aid in this process (that could eventually assist John Cena gaining symathy) is in the midst of Bray Wyatt and John Cena's feud, having Wyatt beat Cena up to a highly uncomfortable to watch degree. Wyatt continues to mention wanting to "bring the monster out" of Cena. This is a wonderful idea. Cena being the type of guy who's a good dude, but also willing to go the extra mile when a fight turns graphic, is important. Bray Wyatt finding a safe, yet spectacular way to recreate The Rock and Mankind's brutally violent "I Quit" match at 1999's Royal Rumble would absolutely achieve this aim. It's entirely possible to believe that there's a sick, twisted and macabre element of the WWE Universe that would absolutely enjoy John Cena playing the role of Mick Foley to Bray Wyatt's Dwayne Johnson to an orgiastic degree. WWE allowing its fans to blow out their vocal chords as Wyatt (and the Family) punish John Cena? Yes, it's cynical, but more than certainly it would work. Following up said match with Wyatt shaking Cena's hand to end the feud and Cena ratcheting up the aggression in a series of future matches (maybe even involving him dropping the "You Can't See Mee" and Five Knuckle Shuffle from his offensive arsenal), would definitely make him more of a tough guy worthy of appreciation and less of a cartoon character worthy of ridicule.
