1. Curtis Axel
While, technically Joe Henning has performed on WWE TV before as Michael McGuillicutty, he re-debuted in the middle of 2013 as Curtis Axel; the latest Paul Heyman guy. Axel won the Intercontinental Championship and managed to defeat Triple H (by countout) so you'd think that would be the makings of a pretty good year, right? Well, no. Initially his debut as a client of Paul Heyman was met with a few groans and little fanfare. Although a fantastic in ring performer Axel lacks the polish and charisma needed to get over with an audience. Paul Heyman couldn't even get the crowd to hate him, or even care about him. Axel came across as bland and his run as IC Champion resulted in more losses than wins. Axel was a combination of Joe Hennig's father, 'Mr. Perfect' Curt Hennig and his grandfather Larry 'The Ax' Hennig. The problem is fans actually want Axel to succeed because of his talent and because of his lineage but because of bad booking, lack of charisma and general disinterest Axel has failed time and time again to capture audience interest. Potentially he still might have a future, but currently his career is stalling as he has been paired with fellow ex Paul Heyman guy, Ryback. Both of them have been on long losing streaks and the fans see them as just that, losers. By far Curtis Axel has been the worst performer introduced to WWE this year. Agree or disagree?
