2. CM Punk
When it comes to leading a stable, my favorite wrestler CM Punk has had his fair share of successes. Whether it be the Second City Saints in Ring of Honor, or the Straight Edge Society or the Nexus in WWE, Punk has been great at being the voice of the voiceless, and leading a revolution. I believe this makes the Shield a perfect group to be led by the Straight Edge Savior. Punk's original pipe bomb promo was all about the injustices of the WWE, and how he had been held down by the ruling hierarchy of the WWE. What better group to be a part of than a group which claims itself as the Hounds of Justice? Punk as a heel is a work of art in my book, and though he is now being positioned as a face (or so it seems given the last couple of weeks), leading the Shield would be a great way for Punk to continue to work his magic on the microphone. Punk has always been a man who stuck to his convictions, and wanted to bring about justice amongst the people, even if it is his own brand of it. Therefore, he is the almost perfect leader for the stable. In fact, the only person I could think of who was better suited to lead the Shield was one of Punk's biggest rivals. The man they call...
