4. John Could Finally Tell Fans How He Really Feels
Fans boo him. They jeer him. One half of the crowd chants "let's go Cena" while the other half chants "Cena sucks." Meanwhile, John goes out of his way to make them happy. He smiles, he shakes hands, he admittedly loves performing in front of the WWE faithful. He grants wishes for kids all over the country and he consistently does the right thing. He fights the good fight and is basically a movie action hero come to life. John Cena has done everything in his power to be the man that he thinks fans want and they have done nothing but spit in his face for it. Imagine what John would love to say to them now. A heel turn would be he perfect opportunity for John Cena to pour his heart out for the world to hear. Cena the man may not care that fans don't like him but Cena the character cares more than any of us could even know. And you can believe that character is quietly itching to cut loose on a live crowd. Joining The Authority would allow John Cena to tear into WWE fans the way we have never seen from anyone in WWE history. The first promo after turning heel would be worth its weight in gold and would set Cena on a path to being the most hated man in the company.
