WWE: 7 Finishing Moves That Should Be Resurrected

6. Moonsault

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQk00Mo2FAg Recently used by: Eve Torres (2012); Lita (2012) The moonsault was once considered a major highspot in matches in the 80s and early 90s, with the Great Muta popularizing the move. By the time the 2000s rolled around, there were nearly a dozen variations (double- and triple-jump, standing, split-legged, corkscrew, etc.), but the version that WWE fans most recognized was the one performed by Lita. After she retired, Eve Torres picked it up as part of her arsenal. Today, aside from Cody Rhodes occasionally using a moonsault press, you don€™t really see it that often, and certainly not to close out a match. This would probably be a more effective finisher if it€™s a bigger male wrestler. (Once upon a time, Big Show was working on a moonsault. Could you imagine the reaction to a 450-pound moonsault?) Otherwise, a diva could pick up the finisher and carry on the tradition of an aerial female. Divas who could use it: Naomi, Summer Rae
