6. Brodus Clay

The booking of Brodus Clay from the time he split up with Tensai (now an announcer) has been a disaster. He went heel, but he didn't really win matches to push the idea that it was the best thing for him. He just disappeared from the picture. That's tough to do when you're a 300 pounder like him. When Clay was doing promos about being a "main event player" people were laughing at him. There's no way anybody was going to buy him in that role on his own because he's not good enough in the ring. If he had somebody talking for him it would definitely help. Clay would be a perfect fit as a Real American because they could use Colter as a coach for him. He can motivate him. He can do promos for him. All Clay has to do is stand there, look intimidating and let Swagger do more of the work in their tag matches. He can be used more as a finisher due to his size. It's easy to book big guys in tag teams. Clay has potential. It's just a matter of tapping into it.
