WWE: 7 Superstars Whose Mic Work Will Make Them Major Players
5. Fandango
What is Fandango's character in WWE? He's a guy that dances. That's really all we know about him. Is there anything else to him? There should be, but at this point we don't know. I think WWE needs to let the former Johnny Curtis show off the verbal skills that he clearly had when he was one of the stars on NXT from in its original format. He basically played a creep character as Curtis with a nickname of "Dirty Curty" and it was the right kind of character for him because he pulled it off. Some people are just good at portraying a creepy guy. He's one of them. In order for Fandango to become a bigger star, he needs to have more to do as a character. All he really does is dance. Why not go into his background by saying that he dances just to piss off his opponents? He does it because he wants to get in their head, but that he's also somebody that has loved wrestling and has done all he could to get better. Just give him something to make him more than "the guy that dances." If Fandango is given an opportunity to deliver big money promos he can succeed at them. Hopefully he is given that chance sooner rather than later.
