WWE: 7 Things You Should Know If You Are Attending Your First House Show

7. The Show Will Last 2 Hours And 30 Minutes

I've probably been to 15-20 WWE house shows in my life and they usually go the same length of time. That's been a standard thing for well over 30 years now. It's just how it is and how it will likely always be. There may be special circumstances in some cases. However, most of them will start at 7:30pm if it's a night show and it will end at 10pm. They time the matches out so they hit that 2 hr, 30 min mark. The number of matches depends on a number of factors, but usually you'll get 7 or 8 hours during the show. They run matinee shows on Sundays sometimes that may start at 3pm or 5pm, but they're going to run the same length of time too. A Raw taping will be 3 hr, 30 min counting Superstars pre-show while a Smackdown taping will be about three hours with Main Event before it. A house show is going to run 2 hr 30 min nearly every time.
