1. The Dreaded Network Glitch
If it's not a hot topic of conversation at your house, you either 1) Live outside of the United States 2) Don't have the WWE Network for other reasons 3) Are going to WrestleMania in New Orleans, or 4) Don't care enough about wrestling to worry about this (and you are reading this article by accident or strange perversion). That hot topic is whether the WWE Network will successfully stream the show without any technical glitches. I can tell you that it's a topic that has kept me awake at night even before the Network launched. Every year, I would invite people to my house for WrestleMania, and say special prayers and perform special dances for the cable gods prior to that 7pm bell time. I'd have the tech support phone number gripped in my hand, scarred by PPVs in the past that hadn't behaved correctly. To this day, a PPV does not start without me feeling a surge of jubilation when the little broadcast warning appears on-screen. It's working! Do YOU have your backup plan if it doesn't work? A friend who lives nearby who can dial it up on cable for an exorbitant fee that will seem like a small price to pay in the heat of the moment? A movie theatre showing PPVs? An alternate feed that may or may not also advertise Russian brides? Don't let the dreaded Network glitch Miz all over your WrestleMania party.
