WWE: 7 Tips On Going To WrestleMania 30

3. Don't Get To The Show Too Early

It's important to remember this: WrestleMania is four hours long. There's a Kickoff Show that's going to be one hour that will likely include 30 minutes of matches. That means you're going to be sitting in the same seat for nearly five hours. You may want to beat the traffic, but that's going to be tough to do. Don't get there too early. The editor here at WhatCulture, Matt Holmes, made the trip to WrestleMania 28 in Miami. He told me that when you come from the UK they tell you to get there early, like really early. We're talking about something like 3pm for a show that begins at 7pm. He got there really early, but they ended up being about the first dozen of people outside the arena. What happened then? They baked and baked in the Miami heat. When I asked Matt what the moral of his story was he said this: "Don't trust the advice of ticketmaster." Take a note, UKers. New Orleans is a hot place too. If you spend a lot of time and money to travel to WrestleMania, chances are you're going to be really excited for it. That doesn't mean you have to head to the arena way before the show starts. Get there at a reasonable time. One final note on this subject is that you should be prepared to pay a lot for parking. It could be something like $50 near the stadium. Why? Because parking places know that 70,000 people are going to show up and after they drive to get to the stadium they're going to be okay with paying a lot for parking because they have no other choice by that point. Save your money for parking. You're going to need it if you drive.
