WWE: 7 Ways Dean Ambrose Will Emerge From The Shield Breakup
3. As A Crafty Heel
Seth Rollins may have been the first Shield member to go heel after their successful babyface run, but if you think Ambrose is staying heel for long you're wrong because he's a guy that has the most long term value as a heel out of the group. There was a WWE Magazine article recently with quotes from Ambrose where he spoke about his former partners because apparently the plan was for him to turn on the group, but for whatever reason they changed his mind. Long term, Ambrose will be most effective as a heel. He's got this look about him that makes people want to punch him because he comes off as this smarmy jerk that shows no remorse for anybody else. Look at the heat that Rollins has received since he turned heel. When Ambrose does it that's going to be a big deal too because then that will mean Reigns is on his own with no friends left. What WWE will have to do is avoid panting Ambrose as a follower and just say he did it on his own because he was sick of Reigns getting the attention. Ambrose has time on his side. He's still young in wrestling terms. One day he's going to really thrive in the heel role and fans won't even remember that he was a babyface because of how effective he'll be as the meanest guy in WWE.
