WWE: 7 Wrestlers Currently Working Through Injury Issues

4. Mark Henry

Mark Henry As The World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry has the reputation of being the toughest bull in the WWE locker room. After all, The World's Strongest gimmick is not just a gimmick for Mark; it's his reality. It's because of this fact that Henry often works hurt. The truth is that for any fan familiar with his WWE career, they likely expect nothing less. Mark is as old school as they come. His smash mouth style is very reminiscent of the old territory days, when big guys were put in the ring and basically allowed to beat each other down until they could no longer walk. But the price paid for being so strong and so tough is that when you get hurt, you don't have the luxury of stopping. The fact is you pick yourself up and keep going; which is exactly what Mark Henry has done his entire career. Mark spent much of his 2011 World title reign bruised and banged up. That continued even after losing the championship and it was not until 2012 that he was finally forced to go out for surgery. He returned in February of 2013, only to go out again in May due to injury. Since he came back in June, Mark has been back and forth a couple of times and even though fans know how tough he is, the truth is that Henry is only getting older. The real issue becomes just how much longer Mark Henry's body can take the strain. Perhaps recently returning after dropping some weight will do him some good and help him to remain healthy. Because you can believe that if he does not, that he will likely keep his mouth shut and just keep right on going.
