5. Iron Man Match
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2yW25ISbt4 Lending itself to the great workers and ring generals, the Iron Man match is a test of a worker's conditioning and moveset. The match has a set time limit (usually 30 or 60 minutes) and the winner is the wrestler who earns the most decisions during that time period. It's an extreme test of conditioning and how well two workers can hold the crowd in the story they are attempting to tell. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels had a very good Iron Man match in the main event of Wrestlemania XII. That match actually went more than 60 minutes since neither man earned a decision until HBK won it in overtime. On the opposite end, Triple H and the Rock's Iron Man match in 2000 featured numerous finishes that wrestling fans hadn't seen in years (a piledriver getting a fall, a sleeper hold actually working, etc.). Today, imagine if two guys like Daniel Bryan and CM Punk were allowed to go out and wrestle for 60 minutes without outside interference or the usually WWE screwy booking. You could almost guarantee a classic bout that would be remembered for years to come. If you were to put a major title on the line, it could be a moment that is remembered forever.
