WWE: 10 Biggest Victims Of Burial

9. Damien Sandow

The self proclaimed Intellectual Saviour Of The Masses has been notably absent from TV for the past few months until very recently, and even then he's been little more than a jobber. It's disappointing, because as recently as last year he looked primed to step into the main event picture. Sandow has been a presence on WWE television for the past few years, as an annoying heel for audiences worldwide, but not really noteworthy. However, in September 2012, he formed a tag team with Cody Rhodes called Team Rhodes Scholars. They weren't hugely successful, but they were a solid feature in the tag team division. At last year's Money In The Bank PPV, both of them were involved in the World Heavyweight Title MITB match. Cody, who had been getting over with the audience due to his in-ring work, dominated the match, only to be screwed out of a win at the last minute by Sandow. This led to a decent feud between the former partners over the MITB briefcase, which ultimately remained in Sandow's possession. All would have been a stepping stone to Damien's ascension to the main event, but unfortunately, he chose to cash in his MITB contract against John Cena, and there was no way he was winning that. He then lost all direction, and the last few months have seen him competing in a Santa costume and losing to Sin Cara in one minute. There may be no coming back from that.
