7. Stone Cold And The Rock Cage Match/Start Of The Two Man Power Trip - WrestleMania 17

The PPV had matches like TLC II, Undertaker Vs Triple H and Chris Benoit Vs Kurt Angle. Then you had the epic WWE championship main event between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin that ended with Stone Cold turning heel and joining forces with the evil Mr McMahon. The next night on RAW, The Rock used his rematch clause for a rematch on the main event of RAW. McMahon was unwilling to give The Rock the rematch until he attacked Vince, and forced him to give the rematch. It was then made to be a steel cage match. The match was a forgotten gem in the long feud between The Rock and Stone Cold, if you have a few spare minutes then check it out. Austin and McMahon brutally beat down The Rock similar to the other night at Wrestlemania 17, but Triple H made his way to the ring looking like he was going to help The Rock, but instead attacks him starting The Two Man Power Trip. It was a great match and moment that lead to a short lived but well received team of Triple H and Stone Cold. As most of you know about 6 weeks later Triple H would tear his quad in a tag team match on RAW.
