WWE: 8 Locations for WrestleMania 30

5. Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, Indiana)

Lucas Oil StadiumWhy it might: A name linked with WrestleMania every year now since it opened in 2008 and a popular destination among fans. Superbowl XLVI showcased the stadium's potential, with rave reviews, a fantastic hotel down the road and a recently re-done convention centre (perfect for Axxess). The outside may look more like a shopping mall, with its red brick and Indiana limestone, but the interior is excellent with a retractable roof, seating for 70,000 and those windows would provide a fantastic backdrop to the stage. The city is one of the largest growing metropolitan areas in the country, and now the second largest in the Midwest behind Chicago. Why it might not: There's no overwhelming suggestion that the Lucas Oil is in a more favourable position to hold the event than any other year its name is considered. Outside of motor sport, Indianapolis is not a location you'd consider for a big-time sporting event (even though it did hold WrestleMania VIII) and apparently is a small market for wrestling.
