WWE: 8 Matches That Should Happen At WrestleMania 30

United States Championship

Ladder Match

Adrian Neville (c) Vs Evan Bourne

Match 3 Adrian Neville will be on the main roster any time soon and for dam good reason. But I would say the reason I€™m so sure is because a certain Evan Bourne is due back from injury and what better way to debut one of the flippiest guys on the planet than with a well-known flippy man as his tag team partner. I would have these two re-ignite the true tag teams in the division by feuding with them all throughout the year. The audience loves a high flying team and anyone working with them will appear much more legit simply by association. Have them hold the straps a couple of times maybe but that€™s not their overall purpose. As we head into €˜Mania the team will be well established and more than likely will have the crowd loving their every move. At this point, Neville lucks into a US Title shot and becomes the new champion. From here you could take two different routes; the obvious narrative whereby the team fall out because one of them holds some gold or try something a little different! The mere idea of two crazy high flyers in a ladder match is enough to sell this match on its own and quite frankly, why muddy the water with an €œemotional€ storyline when it simply doesn€™t require it? No, instead why not treat the fans to a US Title ladder match involving both members of an extremely over tag team because that€™s what they want? I would queue this up with one simple yet effective backstage segment. We get 2 weeks before €˜Mania and the card is filling out nicely and we see the two men sat in the locker room wondering why they haven€™t been made a part of the card just yet. Neville asks an even more important question as to why the US title hasn€™t been defended at WrestleMania in what seems an eternity. Bourne looks at Neville and asks why shouldn€™t he compete for it to which Neville replies asking why wouldn€™t it be a Ladder match? The two agree and later in the show Cole announces that the GM has made it official. A single 1 minute segment backstage and we would have an absolute highlight for the big event. It can be as easy as that! During the final RAW we get both men involved in the tag title build up as a warm up and end up both taking out a ladder and doing a simple flip onto the tag title teams to remind everyone these two will be doing crazy stuff at the event. Winner: Evan Bourne I debated this for some time on whether I would have the match end controversially but instead decided that the match should have a clean outcome so the two could continue their respectful feud to the next PPV where a potential split could occur. The ending would have to come as Neville made a miscalculation when trying to grab the belt / form some offence otherwise the thought would be that Bourne was the better of the two. Again, this is where we would head into Extreme Rules to find the answer to that very question out. Thinking of the future here kids! Click Below For Match 4€
