WWE: 8 Ways CM Punk's Departure Will Change Everything

6. Potential PR Nightmare

Think about everything I just touched on in that last point, and remember that it bears a great deal of truth outside scripted television. Punk makes no effort in hiding his honest emotions when he€™s upset with creative directions, even when he€™s under contract. Admittedly, there are probably grievances he bites his tongue on for legal reasons, but that just creates further intrigue as to what he€™ll say when he€™s not contractually obligated to the company. It€™s definitely plausible that in the coming days, Punk will publicly air out all out of the dirty laundry and bad blood; every grievance he has ever had, which will subsequently direct some serious negative press towards WWE. It's very possible that his frustrations stem beyond booking mistakes and exhaustion, but rather some cruel working conditions that could paint the company in a negative light. Furthermore, this is stuff WWE just doesn€™t need right now. Aside from having drastically and successfully shifted their image into a family friendly product and marching onward towards a milestone WrestleMania in 30, they're launching a subscription based network. They need full focus directed towards correcting their mistakes and cementing a promising future.
