WWE: 8 Ways CM Punk's Departure Will Change Everything

1. Vince Will Listen To Fans Less

vince mcmahon There is a reason John Cena is the top guy on the roster; trust. Throughout the seemingly never ending barrage of live crowd hatred he endures weekly, the creative direction differing opinions, and the fact that he really isn€™t that special of a wrestler, he is a company man. Cena is in everything for the long haul, doesn€™t let negativity phase him €“ he just smiles and winks €“ and represents WWE with the up-most professionalism. On top of that he€™s obviously a merchandise machine and a hit with younger audiences. Vince took a chance with CM Punk - a guy that the fans rallied behind in ways reminiscent to Daniel Bryan€™s success - and in the end Punk walked out on him, drastically shaking up the landscape of WWE. This isn€™t to say that Punk did anything wrong, but it€™s going to cause anxiety to set into Vince. He is going to continue following what his gut says to do from a business standpoint, which involves trusting guys he feels share his vision. This means signing more part-time contracts for guys that he feels he can trust. Kurt Angle has expressed interest in having one final run in WWE, and whether you like it or not Vince will be rushing to get a contract signed with him when his TNA deal expires, much like he reportedly is with Sting currently. That€™s not to say a guy like Daniel Bryan will never reach the top and become the face of the company, just that Vince won€™t do so on a whim just because he€™s drawing the loudest crowd reactions. Vince will be more selective with whom he pushes to the moon, and go forward acting on what he believes is best for business. That€™s what you can expect from CM Punk quitting. Some things sound good, others sound very bad. Now tell us what you think below!
