WWE Almost Changed THIS Iconic Entrance Music
There might've been a riot had WWE gone through with this planned change!
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE considered changing up Randy Orton's iconic "Voices" entrance theme before his return last month at Survivor Series: WarGames.
A new track was pitched for Randy. Reportedly, it would've tweaked the popular Rev Theory stalwart and had "no music off the top and limited lyrics". In other words, there's a chance fan favourite lines from the existing tune could've been deleted entirely.
Perish the thought.
Fightful also said Randy was in talks with WWE management ahead of Survivor Series, and both sides were weighing up the notion of new music. That's always a risk when someone has been using the same theme for so long. Orton started using "Voices" back in 2008, so the switch wouldn't have been greeted favourably by most longtime fans.
Be very careful here, Triple H. Singing along to Randy's track is something so many people enjoy doing whenever they attend WWE TV shows he's on, and that's been the case for decades. Hell, fans also loved his previous entrance tune before "Voices" too.
Introducing something new this deep into Orton's epic WWE career could've been unnecessary.
