The Universal Title will be on the line, and there's a sad farewell...

The Bar are about to reunite for the first time in years.

Yes, it perhaps says everything about this writer that Sheamus teaming with Cesaro once again is the first thing he reached for, but hey ho. WWE are about to make it happen on next week's episode of SmackDown - they've announced two big matches for that show a week in advance.

The scheduled six-man tag won't be presented as a Bar comeback though. No, it's New Day's "Farewell To SmackDown" match. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E will team up "one last time" to take on Sheamus, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Kingston and Woods have been drafted to Raw, whilst E is staying put on Friday nights.

WWE also revealed that Roman Reigns will defend his Universal Title against Braun Strowman. The interesting thing here is that both men are now heels; there's also zero chance that Braun will take the belt from Roman before Reigns locks horns with his cousin Jey Uso inside Hell In A Cell.
