WWE: Analysis Of Every Wrestlemania

Wrestlemania XVI - March 28, 2010

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cbp1814Yxb0 Venue: University of Phoenix Stadium, Arizona Attendance: 72,219 Wrestlemania 26 was a return to form for the biggest PPV of the year with a stacked card and some top notch matches. Firstly Jack Swagger won Money in the Bank which he would cash in on Smackdown against Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk in a missed opportunity to turn Mysterio heel and have him join Punk's Straight Edge Society and Triple H defeated Sheamus in a match that made Sheamus look much better than he was. John Cena defeating a heel Batista was a surprisingly good match considering who was involved and The Undertaker and HBK went for another 24 minutes in the main event in Michaels' last ever WWE match. It was a world class contest but didn't quite live up to the previous years classic contest. In what may have been the biggest shock of all though Bret Hart made his surprise return to the ring defeating his old nemesis Vince McMahon in definitive fashion. The match was far from pretty but served its purpose. Hart has been featured numerous times since and the Montreal Screw Job seems to finally be dead and buried. For now.
