Billy Corgan shows up in backstage segments increasingly these days. Before he started with the company he talked about wanting to get the wrestlers over, and not himself, because hes already over. However, it looks like hes getting addicted to the drug of appearing on TV, in the same way as every other authority figure of the past 20 years has. Him being on-air is not a terrible idea, as the man is famous, but he keeps concerning himself in mid-card nonsense.
This week he interrupted a Knockouts segment and announced that next week there will be a match to decide who is the leader of the Knockouts division. What? Why does a division need a defined leader? What does that even mean? Who is the leader of the mens division? And if there is a leader, shouldnt there be some sort of vote?
At WrestleMania, WWE gave three really talented women the time to put on a great match and look like true competitors. In TNA, theyre fighting over a dumb made-up title.
