WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (August 30)

4. The Rebel-Ution

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZspac0dsRo In order to care about a heel turn in wrestling, you need to care about the character turning. You need to know what they stand for, so when they turn evil, it means something. But here€™s absolutely everything we have ever learned about Rebel during her time in TNA: she was a girlfriend of Knox who brought her into the company so he could get money to save the family business. They called themselves The Menagerie. But now, Knox, The Freak, and the two clowns on stilts all disappeared. Crazy Steve the clown stuck around, but has had zero contact with Rebel. We don€™t know why. Aaaaand, that€™s it. Rebel has no character! She's shown up in a couple random tag matches over the past few months, but generally disappears for weeks at a time. This week on Impact she turned on Velvet Sky...who apparently she was friends with. This is despite the fact that they spent months feuding with each other, and Rebel€™s clown friend sexually assaulted Velvet on multiple occasions. So Rebel€™s turn supposedly strengthens The Dollhouse even though Rebel never wins, and Marti Bell and Jade have lost handicap matches twice in the past few weeks. Maybe they should have picked the clown to join them instead.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
