WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Dec 28)

4. Enough With The Authority!

Please WWE, stop with this €œbest for business€ garbage! The Authority went away at Survivor Series, and should not show up on TV again within the next couple years. Seriously, evil authority figures are as tired as it gets. Steph and HHH didn€™t create any stars during their time on top (Daniel Bryan got over in spite of them), and they overshadowed every wrestler on the roster when they were around. Seth Rollins is on his own now (not counting J and J Security which is actually pretty entertaining), but all he talks about now is The Authority and how they need to come back. He needs to find a new topic. I€™m afraid this is going to soon lead to them returning to power, and that is something I fear more than Hogan dressing up as the Gobbledy Gooker next Thanksgiving. The guest hosts of Raw and SmackDown (who all amazingly book the shows in the exact same way) aren't very exciting either, but how can WWE let us move on if they won€™t stop talking about Steph and Hunter?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
