WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (June 12)

7. Jack Swagger vs. Rusev: Round 13

As an American, Im upset that we keep sending Jack Swagger into battle to take on Rusev and represent the country. Im convinced we can do better. But for some reason, this job continues to be Swaggers sole responsibility, despite failing at it so, so many times.

In fact, Rusev vs. Swagger on Raw was their 13th televised match. Rusev is 11-2 in the feud. He lost once on Tribute to the Troops, because every heel mysteriously loses their fighting ability on that show, and he lost once because of a DQ. Otherwise, Rusev has run the table with the All-American American.

The question is: Does Swagger himself keep asking for this rematch? Or is he forced into this fight repeatedly as some sort of punishment? Just to mix things up, and break up the monotony of these two, it would be nice if WWE could bring in some other patriotic wrestlers to have a shot at protecting the honor of the United States like The Patriot, Jim Duggan, or the triumphant return of Mr. America.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
