1. Details Matter
Michael Cole may not be the most likable person in WWE, but suffering a cervical fracture seemed to be a bit of a jerk move on Brock Lesnars part. You would think if someone twice your size horribly beat you a couple of months ago, forcing you to miss work, youd show at least a little bit of fear, or treat the news of their return with a bit of incredulity. Nope. Cole seemed just fine that Brock Lesnar showed up on Raw. Here were his words upon seeing his attacker:
You saw what this man was capable of the night after WrestleMania, and guys, Brock Lesnar has been clamoring for a rematch ever since Seth Rollins cashed in his money in the bank contract and never pinned Lesnar who was the champion.
That...thats it? Youre not mad? You don't want any help or anything? Heck, even JBL, who was also a part of that destruction, sounded downright giddy that Brock was back. He seems to have forgotten that he was trapped under that announcers table, and they had to get the jaws of life to get him out! On WWE.com they tried to half-assedly resolve the situation. Cole basically said the lawsuit is over (in a very matter of fact tone), and thats that. But the people who watched that video are only a fraction of a fraction of Raws main audience. So why did WWE bother doing the angle in the first place if they couldn't be bothered to adhere to logic? Just say Brock wanted to go hunting for a few months instead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_V2B-FKrIU Plot holes like this make you wonder if what youre watching on-air will even count the next week. Will Brock still be reinstated, or will that be forgotten? Will the Bellas suddenly become faces again? Will they pretend that Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns have never fought before? Maybe thats asking too much. Well, at the very least can WWE please remember that yes, we HAVE seen Kane vs. Randy Orton before? I'd rather Brock push a table over on me than have to see that again. Time to kick out.
