WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (June 26)

7. Clubbing The Rules

I have no problem with A.J. Styles defeating John Cena through use of nefarious means. Cena just came back, so it was doubtful that anyone was going to beat him cleanly right away. However, the problem with the ending to their match at Money in the Bank was that WWE went out of their way to say that The Club wouldn’t be involved at all. While it was never exactly promised on air, that was kind of the entire gist of the contract signing segment on raw.

Unfortunately, it was a stipulation that they didn’t bother to abide by. If that was the plan, then they should have never made it a part of the build. Just don’t put so much focus on Gallows and Anderson likely interfering. Or, babyface authority figure Shane McMahon should have cared about the rules being broken on his watch. The way things played played out put more heat on the booking than The Club.

Also, in a non-related matter. Enough with the jokes of two of the Club members being bald! We get it. They don't have hair! According to my quick calculations, there are seven other bald men on the roster, so it’s not really that novel of a thing. All right, side rant over. Onto the next slide!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
