WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 10)

Spiders, Stardust & R-Truth... no wonder Raw only did a 2.55 rating.

Is there anything more annoying than wrestlers and announcers forcing the name of the upcoming pay-per-view into their promos? €œAt Hell in a Cell, you truly will experience hell in a cell.€ €œAt Payback, when I get you in the ring, I will finally...get my payback.€ €œAt Fastlane, I will sit next to you in my car as we drive fast down a lane together.€ Enough, we get it WWE! This week in the wrestling world, Chris Jericho is taking over the reins of Tough Enough. Hopefully he€™s up for the task of searching the entire country to find the next Cameron. On SmackDown, Dean Ambrose called dibs on throwing someone through a table, and then was unable to break it, which in the old days, meant he€™d have to throw himself through it. And MVP dropped the n-word on a major wrestling show, becoming the first person to do so since Vince McMahon (I wish that was a joke). In a podcast interview with Jericho, Billy Corgan said all the right things to give fans hope that TNA will finally establish their own identity, besides Diet WWE. Will he be able to do it? Or is this Hogan and Bischoff all over again? When he talks about wanting to explore themes of sexuality in wrestling, let€™s hope he has better plans than lowering Orlando Jordan from the ceiling in caution tape. Time will tell on that. For now, let€™s go find that proverbial rat in a cage and discover the worst in wrestling this week!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
