1. Good Luck Cody

Good one WWE. Well played. You took a really talented dude and pushed him terribly for years, never giving him a chance to show off his skills and then made him play a second rate knock off of his older brother. It's a bit of a wonder why Cody Rhodes didn't quit sooner.

Cody is only 31-years-old, but hed clearly had enough of how he was portrayed in the company. No matter what kind of garbage he was given, he made it turn out pretty well. It was never enough for him to get a better role, though.

The best promo Cody cut on his career was when he was fired from the company, and on the way out claimed that the McMahons always had it out for the Rhodes. He displayed a passion that should have been tapped into. He showed that he had it in him to be an effective babyface. It was a time to capitalize.

Instead, he stuck with Goldust. It was an entertaining tag team, but when Dusty Rhodes broke script and put his hand in front of Stephanie McMahons face, they were all doomed.

Cody later went on a losing streak, and was then repackaged as Stardust. He was great in the role, but it was destined to be a mid-card act. WWE began to think it wasn't even worthy of that, as he became a virtual jobber. Cody wasnt too thrilled with his increasing demotion and decided life outside the company was more appealing. Hopefully he shows up elsewhere to prove that hes far better than what his last employer gave him.

Time to kick out.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
