WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 24)

1. TNA...Cancelled?

So once again, TNA may be headed towards the wrestling graveyard...maybe? Earlier this week, it was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Pro Wrestling Observer that Impact was going to be cancelled at the end of the third quarter by Destination America. Which may only give them a few months to find a TV deal. This would be a huge blow, perhaps a fatal one to the struggling company. It would be a shame, as TNA has actually been the most entertaining it has been in years since they jumped to Destination America. However, their history may have done them in for. You can only be terrible for so long before fans will just never come back and give you another chance. It€™s still not quite clear yet what is going on, as TNA hasn€™t confirmed the cancellation, but apparently Dixie Carter and co. aren€™t even telling the talent what the situation is. The rumor is they have to wait until the next set of TV tapings to find out, which is a downright sleazy thing for them to do. Not really unexpected for a company named TNA, but still a cruel move. Time to kick out.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
