WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Nov 9)

6. 1997 Defeats 2014!

Tommy Dreamer and Devon Dudley. Combined age: 85 Bram and Magnus. Combined age: 55 One of these teams are full-time workers for TNA, with a ton of untapped potential. The other team is composed of two guys that have been released before by TNA, and were only brought back this summer to do some shows in New York. So it€™s pretty obvious which team should win right? TNA! TNA! TNA! Wait€ I mean, ECW! ECW! ECW! As we slowly come to the likely end of TNA€™s run on Spike (and perhaps the end of its very existence) it's maddening how little they€™ve learned after all this time. Former WWE wrestlers have again and again been booked as superior to TNA's homegrown talent. Now if someone turns on their TV to give the company a chance, they€™ll see two castoffs from Raw (from 10 years ago!) beating two younger, more athletic guys. It just makes the company look like the minor leagues. Hopefully Lucha Underground and Global Force Wrestling can learn from TNA's mistakes. There has to be some good to come out of Dixie's playground.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
