WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 15)

7. This Week In Bad Writing...

CHARLIE CARUZO SETH ROLLINS

Usually I put the worst line or two in the intro, but that seems to be getting a bit lengthy. So let’s give it a shot in the old number seven slide and see how that feels.

“If her Plan A is to turn Hell in a Cell into an episode of Table For 3, I hate to break it to her, but i’m going to crush that plan." - Seth Rollins on Raw.

WWE, knock it the f**k off!

There is nothing that grinds me gears more in all of wrestling right now than their characters plugging that damn network while in character! I think the constant commercials during the shows ,or the announcers themselves talking about it constantly is enough. Because look at that line. Did one single person on the entire planet say to themselves “Holy s**t! I forgot about Table for 3 until Seth Rollins mentioned it, I need to go grab my credit card so I can watch Molly Holly and Michelle McCool eat lunch together!”

No, it’s a dumb line and it makes Rollins look lame. There’s just no other way around it. Luckily, that was it for bad plugs for week.

“Are we on an episode of Swerved?” - Curtis Axel on Raw.

Ah dammit!

And then, the last worst line of the week belongs to the WWE Universe. They did not earn the right to be called “fans”, as they were marking out for Dolph Ziggler...holding the Intercontinental Title? He was greeted with “You deserve it!” on SmackDown.

You deserve it? You mean that mid-card title he’s held four times before in the past? Sure, I mean I guess so?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
