WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 19)

2. Champions Are Losers!

On SmackDown, Seth Rollins asked Dolph Ziggler if anyone cares about respect. He should have asked him if anyone cares about the Intercontinental Title, because Rollins obviously doesn€™t! He didn't bother asking for a title shot before his match or after he won. You would think with the World Heavyweight Championship disappearing off the face of the earth, and Brock Lesnar rarely showing up, that the secondary titles would be protected. This is not the case. On Raw alone, the US Champ, the Tag Team Champions and The Intercontinental Champ all lost clean. Dolph Ziggler has now lost his last three one-on-one matches, all clean. First to Rusev on SmackDown last week, then Randy Orton on Raw and Rollins finished off the hat trick on this week€™s Smackdown. With the tag titles, Gold and Stardust couldn€™t handle first time teammates in Cena and Ambrose. Apparently that means there is absolutely no strategy to tag wrestling if two guys that hate each other can beat two brothers in their first match with them. Since Lesnar hasn't even been mentioned lately, maybe WWE is quietly getting rid of every title! Perhaps the plan is to bring back titles that actually mean more than the Intercontinental Title like the European Title, the TV Championship, The Million Dollar Belt and, of course, Lance Storm's 100 kg and Under Championship.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
