Raw drew the lowest rating of the year this past Monday Night. Thats not good. Thats pretty much the worst. They ended with a 2.69 rating the day after a pay-per-view! After sitting through that episode, they probably deserved a 0.01, maybe a 0.02 if were being generous. The show should only have aired at 2 am in bus stations in sketchy parts of town. The show desperately needs new talent right now. Screw this NXT nonsense, Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, The Ascension, The Man formerly Known as Prince Devitt, Hideo Itami, Kevin Steen and anyone else who is free (besides Mojo Rawley and Enzo Amore) needs to be called up right now! I dont care if theyre ready. I dont care if they brought their tights. I just cant take the boredom of seeing the same matches over and over and over again. Its maddening! I dont need to see Jack Swagger vs. Bo Dallas three times in seven days. I dont need more of The Usos and Gold and Stardust. Weve seen members of those teams battle each other in eight different forms since August 18. Im burnt out on Adam Rose, a bunny and Heath Slater. To top it off, WWE gave us the very definition of a boring match. John Cena vs. Randy Orton has been going on for centuries now it feels. Its two of the top WWE stars of all time, and the fans couldnt have cared less for their main event match on Raw. At this point, I wouldnt mind if they brought back The Heartthrobs, The Dicks, The Gymini, Mordecai, Just Joe, Skinner, and The Bushwhackers just to give me something different. With that roster I'm guessing they could at least draw a 2.70. Time to kick out.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
