WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Sept 11)

1. New Day. Old Day. Same Old Crap.

I don’t know if there has been a worse wrestling skit all year than what we saw Gallows and Anderson and New Day deliver this week. I really don’t.

This is the worst feud in the business, and it involves five talented people. When Old Day came down to the ring, you knew it was going to suck. Watching them walk out slowly wasn’t funny, but you had to endure it for over a minute. The visual took less than one second to get the joke, and yet, it kept going and going until they could slowly get in the ring and deliver some really painful bad comedy.

Vince McMahon likely sat in his mansion this week and realized Raw needed more toilet humor. That’s why the ratings are terrible. Not enough pee jokes!

I hate to harp on this every single week, but Gallows and Anderson aren’t funny. And now, they’re no longer cool. Nash and Hall in their prime couldn’t have made this material work, but they would have had the balls to say it was terrible, and that they weren't going to do it. We need heroes like that once again.

Time to kick out.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
