WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 6)

7. Sandow Chopped

WWE.comWWE.comAfter last week's article, I felt it was time to give Damien Sandow a break. He seems to make an appearance on the list almost every week these days. This is not something I look forward to, but feel compelled to take note of. This week I told myself that unless he participated in something painfully stupid and unnecessary, that I wouldn€™t mention it. Well, then soon took part in something that exceeded my expectations for WWE's lameness and warped sense of humor. On Raw, Sandow performed an impression of Vince McMahon for the audience. It was mildly amusing, but then Steph appeared on the big screen and was so offended and lambasted him so much that I assumed she had to have been joking. Her character was overacting to levels quite unbelievable even for her. She was in no joking mood it turns out, and Sandow's punishment for doing an impression of her dad was to fight The Great Khali...a man that he has defeated before. Khali's time off appears to have done him some good. While he's less mobile than ever, he was able to defeat Sandow within a matter of seconds. Heath Slater would have put up a better fight. It's almost fascinating at this point to see how low Sandow can sink to. What's up next? A series of jobs to El Torito? Putting on gold and black makeup to become Uranus Dust? Wearing a giant green sock on Santino's arm and becoming his cobra? I'm afraid of what's in store for him.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
