Once more taking cue from company friend and inexplicable POTUS Donald Trump, WWE today made a major announcement via Twitter, as Charlotte's replacement in the women's traditional Survivor Series match was unveiled.

And it's just terribly dull. All those rumours of a Paige or Nikki Bella return were scotched in an instant, as SmackDown GM Shane McMahon revealed that the fifth member would be none other that deposed champ Natalya. Yawn...

Given the underwhelming outcome, announcing the switch via social media actually makes sense; at least the disappointment has came early, and not during a show people have paid money for. The reaction for the 'Queen of Harts' would have been tepid, to say the least, and putting Natalya in such a position would have been a mite unfair.

WWE's female superstars took to Twitter to 'react' to the news in their completely pointless kayfabe way. To his credit, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer was adamant that the company were going ahead with Natalya in the final spot; hopes of a dramatic return on Paige's part were likely fueled by her supposed impending resumption of services, not to mention some degree of wishful thinking. The wait goes on.
