The Undertaker's status in the company is being kept secret from WWE's creative team in order to avoid any potential leaks, according to Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.

WWE are going the extra mile in order to make sure that the internet doesn't get hold of any potential spoilers regarding Mark Calaway's future in the company, with nobody except from his wife Michelle McCool and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon being aware of his all important decision.

A WWE source has confirmed, 'Whatever he is going to say will not be spoiled on the internet. None of us know if he’s done. Other than his wife, I think the only person who would know would be Vince.'

'Taker spoke to Ariel Helwani on ESPN recently and wouldn't commit to stating whether a retirement announcement would be made in the last episode of his The Last Ride series on the WWE Network.

He said:

'Hey I love you brother, but I can’t give you that before episode two comes out…I’ve been retiring, personally, here when I’m at home, for at least six years. Every year I’ll come back and I’m all beat up and everything hurts the next day, and I’m like, ‘Man that’s it.’ And all I get from (McCool) is a big eye roll and she goes, ‘Until April comes around.’ She’s been pretty accurate so far. I learned you never say never, but it’s very obvious that I have far more matches behind me than I do in front of me. Nobody beats father time.'

A potential rematch with AJ Styles has been rumoured for this year's SummerSlam, but there still isn't any concrete information on whether or not we've seen 'The Deadman's last match in the company.
