Result: Owens traps AJ's leg inside the monitor compartment of the announcer's table for the countout win (21:10).

Rating: This started slow but picked up soon enough, though there were definitely too many rest holds throughout. It wasn't the classic these two are capable of, but compared to most of the show's other matches, how could they not steal the night away?

It went long and pretty much got better as it went along, getting increasingly more desperate and physical. Plus, either man could've won so it actually felt like something was at stake. AJ's knee selling was fantastic here, especially with the "botch" when he went for the Phenomenal Forearm, and Owens' top-rope superplex looked spectacularly brutal.

Yes, the ending was weird and goofy, but it made sense for Owens' character and was at least an inventive way to end a match via judgement call. 7/10
