WWE have finally confirmed the details of their behind-the-curtain studio show set to debut on FS1 this autumn.

'WWE Backstage' will begin airing from Tuesday 5 November, 11PM ET/8 PM PT, hosted by regular anchor Renee Young alongside Hall of Famer and analyst Booker T. The pair will be joined by a "rotating cast of guests and personalities" as they discuss the biggest stories of the week.

A special preview edition of the show will air on 15 October, a fortnight after SmackDown makes its huge move to FOX.

Speaking about the new show, Young said:

"WWE Backstage is a wrestling show for wrestling fans. From hardcore fans to people new to wrestling, we’ll give them a little bit of everything. It's going to be fun, it’s going to be loud, we’re going to give them a ton of opinions and I can’t wait to help spread the word about SmackDown coming to FOX."

Co-host Booker T echoed Young's sentiments, saying the SmackDown/Backstage pairing is "going to be a tag team that’s going to last for a long time, and one that cannot lose."
