WWE Backstage Feeling - The Undertaker Will Wrestle Again

The backstage feeling in WWE is that it was was the wrong call for The Undertaker to lose to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, reports the Wrestling Observer. The internal belief is that the Deadman will be back in the ring next year but he has lost some of his value with the streak gone. WWE backstage talent aren't about to speak publicly, but the ill feeling about Undertaker's loss is vocalised in the wider wrestling world. The finish to the Mania 30 bout was met with choruses of boos and "bull****" chants from fans in attendance. The Observer notes that Shawn Michaels will be featured on the Jim Ross podcast show in the coming weeks, with HBK potentially being the first big name WWE contracted performer who will speak publicly on the disappointment. The fact that people inside WWE believe Undertaker will wrestle again is interesting. The Observer previously noted that Vince McMahon made the decision to end the streak because he believed Undertaker was no longer fit enough with his severe hip and shoulder injury. With an internal feeling that Undertaker will work next year, perhaps McMahon made that call prematurely. The backstage believe that if Undertaker does return, WWE blew it by sacrificing his big 'streak' attraction value at Mania. It will be great to see The Deadman back in a WWE ring, but after losing the streak to Lesnar, things just aren't going to be the same. What matches could Undertaker be coming back for? There's still good reason to believe Sting vs Undertaker could be at WrestleMania 31, or a rematch with Brock Lesnar to avenge the streak loss and retire on a win is also logical.
