WWE: Batista Argued With Fans After Winning Royal Rumble

Batista Returns The return of Batista to WWE has sent shockwaves around the wrestling world. Some people are really excited to see "The Animal" back. Others think that at 45 years old he shouldn't be in a position as a top guy because he doesn't have it anymore. In terms of expressing himself in public, Batista has already made the news. We covered his Twitter comments last week when he told fans that didn't like him to "suck my balls" and it looks like the bizarre behavior has continued. Following his victory in the Royal Rumble match in Pittsburgh, there was a report by PWInsider that Batista got himself into trouble. The report states the following: "Batista argued with fans on his way up the ramp after the Royal Rumble match last night and was seen flipping them off. There were some people backstage that were not happy about this." Here's a photo of Batista confronting fans that was shown on the video wall. Batistafingertofans It's very disappointing that a guy positioned as a babyface would show his middle finger to fans at ringside. While I'm sure that he's upset that some fans were against him winning on Sunday, he should know better by now. He's been in the wrestling for too long to lose his emotion in front of an arena full of fans like that. Would John Cena do something like this? Of course not. Cena's dealt with unruly fans his whole career and he's never lost it in front of his career. He'll smile, he'll wink and he'll move on. It's pretty simple. The fans pay your salary. Don't make enemies out of them because it hurts the company in the long run and hurts you in the eyes of management. Maybe Batista is miscast in the babyface role. He might be better as a heel. It seems to be more natural for him. Hopefully there are no more incidents of Batista behaving badly.
