The more we see of Stardust, the more staggeringly impressive we realise Cody's range as a performer is. If you were to tell anyone that the whiter-than-white third generation golden boy of The Legacy would one day manage to out-weird his illustrious but freaky older brother, we'd have made a bet involving a substantial amount of money and us eating our own hats. Cut to 2014 and we'd owe you some cash and an improbable lunch. Cody's new Stardust character comes on in leaps and bounds every time he gets a little microphone time, which is notably more than he ever got before as of late. That the company took a segment out of the pay-per-view to allow him and Goldust to cut a promo when the pair didn't even have a match speaks volumes about the trust and effort the company is going to invest in the character. We've said it before, but Goldust vs Stardust seems inevitable at this point and if Goldust's final match before going out puts this excellent new character over, we may see Stardust leap into the title picture following the blowoff match between the two.
